[/media-credit]Bookseller chain Barnes & Noble will be holding its latest 50% off clearance stock sale beginning on Monday. What makes this sale different from all the others is that all Tokyopop stock remaining and held by the chain is included and will be discounted even further if stock should remain after the sale.
This follows the shutdown and subsequent liquidation of the US publishing arm of the company in May after its largest retailer customer in Borders filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings and recently shuttered its last remaining stores this past week, greatly affecting the one-time publisher of Sailor Moon, Great Teacher Onizuka and other major titles.
